Frequently asked questions.

Q: How long does each photo last on screen?

A: The default time is six seconds, however the default time may be adjusted for as long or short as you wish.

Q: How many photos do I need per song?

A: Each photo normally is up for six seconds, 10 photos = One Minute, or 30 photos for a three minute song.

Q: How do I indicate the order of my photos?

A: Please place your photographs in the order that you would like them to appear on the video, you may number each photograph on the back using pencil or a post it note. DO NOT USE PEN OR MARKER because some ink types can rub off the back onto the face of the next photo and ruin it. If you have groups of photos you want separated by titles and or song changes place each group in a separate envelope with the wording or title you want to see and indicate the music cut for that section.

Q:What about music on my video?

A: We can use any music you have on CD. Just make note of which cuts in order.

Q: Do you have to use the whole song?

A: We can shorten the songs to fit a group of photos or start the song at a certain verse or refrain.

Q: I need my photo montage in a hurry, can you do it?

A: Most montages are complete in three days. If you need it quicker just let us know.

Q: How should I ship my photos to you?

A: We recommend using a service that provides tracking of your package. Package them safely, place cardboard or something similar in your package so your photos are not accidentally bent in shipping.

Testimonial:

Dear Carl,

My wife and I had a video made for the celebration of my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. We transferred pictures of their lives to video and set it to music.

Our hope for the video was that my parents would enjoy it but we were completely unprepared for the overwhelming reaction we received. The video emitted a gamut of emotions ranging from laughter to tears. The first viewing was before an audience of whom 90% had never met any of the people in the video other than my parents. Our fears that they would be bored were completely unfounded. There have been numerous requests for the video to be played again not only from those who viewed it but also from those who have heard about it and from those who were unable to attend the party.

We purchased enough copies so that each child and grandchild would have their own copy. The video is a wonderful genealogy documentation for future generations.

My father watched the video fifteen times in the first two days and my parents continue to watch it at least once a day.

The time and cost involved in making the video is well worth it. We highly recommend that every family do it.

Sincerely,

Rusty Gorman
